Thank you for visiting Beelieve Academy. Hi, I’m Terri! It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m a former educator and founder of Beelieve Academy. I have experience teaching toddler (2 years), preschool 3 (years), and GA Pre-K (4 years) and private kindergarten (5 years). I started volunteering at daycare centers while in college and became a toddler teacher while pursuing my BA in Child Psychology. Instead of pursuing a career as a Child Psychologist I was drawn to the classroom as a Preschool Teacher. I have a total of over 10 years experience teaching 2-5 year olds.

During COVID, I made the decision to work from home while raising my two young sons. Like many moms, I was thrown into a new situation without any heads up or the tools to navigate these changes. I was a new mom with a toddler that was also remotely working. It was CHAOS! I needed to keep my toddler busy so I could get my work done. I wanted him to retain all of the information he learned in daycare so he would not fall behind. I began teaching my toddler at home and began preparing lesson plans to keep my son active.  It was deja vu! 

In the process, I rekindled my passion for teaching. I wanted to continue teaching but was not in a position to return to the classroom. I decided to prepare quality lesson plan ideas, crafts, and courses to share with other moms like me! That’s when Beelieve Academy was born.

When I started teaching my son at home, I was on the hunt for quality activities and lessons. I subscribed (still am) to several homeschool sites for freebies. I recalled the hours of lesson planning from my years of teaching and knew it had to be a better way. I was spending more time finding materials than actually doing the activities. I began to simplify the lesson planning process by outlining my whole month in advance. This process led to a WHOLE year lesson plan!

My goal is to help you teach your child the basics of math, literacy, fine/gross motor skills, and social-emotional development but have FUN doing it. Moms are already busy enough so I hope to save you lots of time, frustration and energy by preparing mostly low to no prep activities. This means more quality time to spend with your children.

Beelieve Academy provides homeschool activities and lesson plans for children aged 2 -7. The Beelieve Academy homeschool program lasts 45 minutes to an hour a day. Moms are already busy enough so I hope to save you lots of time, frustration and energy by preparing mostly low to no prep activities. This means more quality time to spend with your children.
